 Explosive Hollywood Action Movies Fuel Comic Images New Film Frenzy™ Card Game
A narrow escape through an air duct, a hero's girlfriend captured by the villain, a high speed car chase through city streets, or a doomsday device that gets deactivated as the timer runs down to 00:01. You probably groaned at the last action film containing these stereotypes, but now these scenes, and the multitude of other action movie clichés, mean big points in the unique new card game from Comic Images: Film Frenzy™-Action Movie Edition.
In Film Frenzy™- Action Movie Edition, players watch any action film and score points by spotting stereotypical sequences like, car chases, explosions or fist fights, just to name a few. When these elements appear, “Movie Cards" are played and points are awarded. Special “Remote” cards, like Rewind and Pause, allow players to form different strategies and keep the game play charged. Players have the option of dealing through an entire movie, or cuing up their favorite action scene to play an explosive quick round. While the Action Movie Edition is the first to be released, there are plans for additional versions such as Horror, Science Fiction, and Martial Arts, as well as possible licensed versions.
Film Frenzy™-Action Movie Edition is truly a game made for movie fans by movie fans, especially fans of big-budget, shoot to thrill, blow-up everything in sight action movies! The inventor’s spent endless days scouring the shelves of local video stores in search of the good (films like Die Hard or Lethal Weapon), the bad (Roadhouse, Point Break), and the just plain awful (Thunder in Paradise starring Hulk Hogan). After countless hours of movie watching, play-testing, and a lot of pizza, Film Frenzy™ was ready for it’s world premiere.
Featuring artwork by comic book veteran Neil Vokes, toy designer Chris Lauria, and a team of toy and comic artists, Film Frenzy™ is a colorful, fast-paced card game that's easy to learn and a blast to play. The game contains 120 cards and a rules sheet. One deck will support 2 to 5 players and is playable with just about any action movie you can think of. The game box shares the same dimensions as a VHS so players can simply store it with their video collection until the next action movie viewing.
Film Frenzy™-Action Movie Edition will appeal to anyone who enjoys a big Hollywood shoot 'em up and great artwork, or anyone who just loves action movies and a good party game. Just shuffle the deck, deal the cards, fire up your favorite action movie, and you're ready to play.
