 After Launching Their New In-Home Pet Care Service in April, K9 Campus!
Founded and operated by local resident, Tammy Smith, K9 Campus Professional Pet Sitting Service is going strong. Fully licensed, insured and bonded, the Campus became a division of TheK9Cafe.com after beginning service in early April.
Professional Pet Care reaches a wide spectrum of pet owners in the United States today. “Not every pet owner has the same need in pet care” states Smith. “Our customers range from working professionals and vacationers to stay at home parents with busy schedules and outside activities.” Due to a high demand for more specialized pet services by their current customers, Smith added to their list of services the beginning of May.
One of the areas K9 Campus has started focusing on more is Senior Citizens living in Assisted Care Facilities who are able to house their pet, yet may not always be capable of caring for them. In most cases, if the pet is not being cared for properly, they could be removed from the home. “This can be extremely traumatic to endure after sharing the affection of a pet.” says Smith “That is where K9 Campus comes in.” she adds “We will schedule visits as needed to clean and care for litter boxes, bathe dogs, and properly stock and maintain their pet food and supplies. We also enjoy overseeing the well being of the pet and their owners.” K9 Campus service is available for senior citizens seven day a week in the event they are in immediate need of pet care or supplies.
K9 Campus also offers a Pet Taxi Service to transport your pet to and from important Veterinarian appointments, or a visit to the Groomer, in which the owner is not always able or capable to meet. “Our Pet Taxi is also available for Pet Supply pick-up and delivery to your home.” says Smith “We will also deliver your pets important medications and administer them."
Overnight care at K9 Campus is free of cages in the comfort of a home setting. “This can be a better alternative, or in some cases, the only alternative to boarding or kenneling your dog.” states Smith “As it tends to put the pet and their owner at ease knowing they are being cared for as if they were my own.”
The Campus offers 5 acres to run, a small pond to play, golf cart rides, and a 20 foot sandbox to dig. All activities and diets are strictly based upon owner instructions. “Best of all” says Smith “Your dog will be sleeping in the comfort of a home, not a kennel.” Smith continues by saying “When you arrive to pick-up your pet, you will receive a complimentary K9 Campus Photo Album filled with pictures of your pets stay with us, from playtime and bath to bedtime. That way you won’t miss out on the fun either!”
At this time, overnight care is designed for dogs only. A “Get Acquainted” visit to the K9 Campus with your dog is required before reservations can be made.
