A New Breed of Babysitter…The Professional Nanny

August 8, 2004 -- Nanny Essentials LLC is promoting it’s new line of training materials for childcare professionals. This company was begun by a professional working nanny who wanted to improve the resources available to educate nannies. The demand for these products was overwhelming from parents and providers alike. By working around the clock, Angela Rheingans successfully created Nanny Essentials LLC.

After nearly a decade of bad press for nannies and other in-home childcare providers, Nanny Essentials LLC provides a sigh of relief as the focus is turned back onto promoting the childcare professional. Essentials for the Professional Nanny, a training kit designed for in-home childcare providers, is only one of the new products that are being marketed as “A necessary tool for the childcare professional.”

Nanny Essentials, and the Nanny Essentials Log Book, both which are sold on the website, www.nannyessentials.com, are finding their way into the hands of providers and their employers everywhere. Parents find that the Welcome Nanny Kit makes a great gift for new providers. Other parents love the gifts and products to give their babysitters. One mother states, “The Nanny Essentials website has some wonderful products for babysitters. We gave our babysitter one of the t-shirts they sell, and she has nearly worn it out. She loves it!”

Owner, Angela Rheingans, says “We wanted to put the focus back on the professional and provide the tools and resources to achieve that image. Our website contains a wealth of free information for parents and providers and our products will help to enhance job performance and knowledge of the childcare professional.” Their training materials have been receiving rave reviews. Glenda Propst, co-founder of the National Association of Nannies, says, “Very comprehensive and obviously written by a true professional who knows the nanny profession from the inside out.”

This new breed of babysitters has gained respect as professionals. The training these nannies bring to the table presents a polished, educated provider for children. Parents and providers who would like to find out more about Nanny Essentials and their products can find them online at www.nannyessentials.com.
